Luke Elford

For the last eight years, Luke Elford has been showcasing heartwarming tales of the highs and lows of life, lost love and the ever changing internal battle with his own demons.

Born, raised, and still residing in South Wales, Elford remains a local artist in the village of Pontyclun, playing as much as he can.

From an early age, Luke was always fascinated with composing and wrote a lot of

poetry. After teaching himself basic computing technology, Luke began creating compositions on his own, everything from classical to electronic. Luke began to record his acoustic material, using ambient textures and melodic vocal patterns, creating his own sound of unique music.

Throughout all of his solo work, Elford joined and formed many bands. His first being the pop punk sensation, The Other Guys. This period of life was a true calling for playing shows and displaying his energy on stage. He then put down the guitar and became the front man for the alternative rock band, Will It Fly. Taking a backseat on the musical side of it, Luke focused on the lyrics and melodies of the music. The band was cut short after Lukes departure to Australia and never continued on his return.

Years later Luke formed his most recent band, Moral Compass. Although short lived, the band achieved a lot, winning a battle of the bands competition and playing many shows.

Luke now focuses on his own acoustic material, but hopes to form a band soon and begin playing shows once again
